Simnor has left us!

Hi all,

Simon North started Simnor computing when we were back at 6th form 2 years ago. He had lots of little software projects, web projects and forums. He got Windows Vista at launch and setup this forum. He shortly gave up and started using Linux! He has since cleared most of his old projects- he has left this forum standing but he is no longer available to help with Windows Vista issues- he is lending most of his time to creating the world first online operating- well I won't go into that!

I don't own a copy of Vista myself- as a gamer I prefer Windows XP. It's easier to tweak, and takes up much less space on the hard drive, and uses less resources leaving more power for games! however, I will keep checking back to offer assistance where I can.

I am sorry to have to tell you this, but I was cleaning out my bookmarks folder so i popped in to see what was going on. I discovered a few months back most of the old Simnor stuff was gone. I thought i'd pass this on after seeing so many unanswered posts from lots of members.

I am annoyed at Windows, not only for making a sh#t OS, but for not providing any help! This forum is the most prominent in a google search. The offical microsoft pages are trying to showcase the features to sell vista, not to offer help.

Once again I am sorry for Simon's departure
